Moon face, or moon facies[1], is a medical sign where the face swells up into a rounded shape. It is often associated with Cushing's syndrome or steroid treatment (especially corticosteroids), which has led to it being known as Cushingoid facies ("Cushings-like face") or steroid facies respectively.
Rare case: Chronic pulmonary embolism with diffuse edema at whole body due to right heart ventricle overload. The case also appeared with moon-face like appearance.
